Help us reach our $300,000 Goal!

We are excited that a very generous company has donated $40,000 toward our generator project with the intention that we use it to create a match campaign to encourage others to support the project.

Another generous donor has issued a challenge: they will match dollar-for-dollar any funds raised from October 1st to December 31st, up to $100,000! This challenge, coupled with the $40,000 from the other donor company, has prompted us to set a stretch goal of $300,000, with the focus on disaster preparedness and other issues related to the well-being of our Ridgers.

Thank you so much for having a heart for our residents. Would you consider giving a gift today?

Michael J. and David S. are very a-peel-ling!

Alissa S. and John M. are ready to fill their buckets with candy!

Dawn H. and Mary W. are so gourd-geous!

Lowe's Heroes Beautify The Ridge Garden and Conner Home Patio!

The Lowe’s Heroes Program’s purpose is to help people love where they live. Seven Corona and Riverside Lowe’s store employees succeeded at doing just that. Lowe’s donated a garden swing, patio furniture, two hammocks, plants and vegetables, string and garden lights, decor, drip system supplies, a shelving unit, and a brand new washer, dryer and refrigerator. Not only were the items delivered but the volunteers went above and beyond dedicating their day to assembling, planting, and decorating our campus. Conner Home’s patio area and the Ridge Garden looks better than ever! Thank you to Lowe’s and the Lowe’s staff for choosing Peppermint Ridge for your program and volunteering to renovate and beautify these spaces for Ridgers to enjoy!

The Community Foundation Awards Peppermint Ridge With Renovation Grant!

We are so excited to be able to make one of the restrooms in Dudley Home ADA accessible. This renovation is made possible in part by a grant from The Community Foundation, Strengthening Inland Southern California through Philanthropy.
Many thanks to The Community Foundation for making life a little easier for the men and women of Dudley Home.

Edison Grant Offers Opportunity For Staff Wide Emergency Training

Seventy Five staff, along with all managers, and 10 clients participated in The Great California Shakeout on October 18th. We were able to have an in-depth training exercise that consisted of two hours of classroom training and an earthquake simulation activity. This training was made possible through a grant from Southern California Edison. By having 10 residents participate, staff members were able to put their training to use as they assisted residents during and following the drill. Staff members were very attentive to clients during the drill and helped to make sure they were able to calmly exit the building through some prompting and reassurance. This training brought to light areas in our disaster preparedness plan that we can expand on and new ideas that we can implement. Peppermint Ridge is committed to the people who live and work here. We will do what it takes to make sure they are happy, healthy and safe!
