4th Of July Celebration The annual 4th of July celebration was particularly special this year, as we celebrated our 60th Anniversary and showcased The Dudley Community Center to the public. There were over 250 residents, staff, family and friends in attendance. The annual parade kicked off the celebration. Friends and family cheered on The Ridgers as they proudly held their home banners and took the trip around the campus with their friends. Ridgers received individual awards which recognized their accomplishments. Fun was had by all as they played carnival games, enjoyed snow cones, hammed it up at the photo booth, got their face painted and ate to their hearts content. Members of the “Family and Friends” organization raffled off gift cards and baskets and brought lots of yummy desserts to share. Thank you to all the staff and volunteers for their hard work in planning and setting up the event, and a big thanks to everyone who spent their morning with us. It truly was a memorable 4th of July! | |
